Congratulations to all of us!

International solidarity can make magic, Elizabeth told.

Elizabeth shared to the ceremony audiences that domestic workers gain love and strength through international solidarity. We also know that we need to fight not only in the countries but globally to win our rights. The biggest challenges ahead of us was IDWF is still tiny – there are millions of domestic workers in the world. She also urged the European government to protect all rights of domestic workers, especially the migrants. Governments like the UK should stop regressions in the rights of domestic workers. We should also press the governments of the Gulf countries where domestic workers do not enjoy any rights at all.
