Domestic Workers are Included in the Sexual Harassment Bill
Details
On December 3, Shirley Pryce, President of the Jamaica Household Workers Union gave a submission to the Joint Select Committee on the Sexual Harassment Act. She used the opportunity to call on the Government to ratify C190 with the slogan: “TIME COME RATIFICATION NOW.”
Later on, the House of Parliament discussed gaps and recommendations on the Sexual Harassment Bill and the recommendations was well supported.
