This November 26, FETRADOMOV inaugurates a Virtual Regional School on LGBTI Rights, in conllaboration with the Central American Network for LGBTI Labor Justice and the Alliance for LGBTI Labor Rights of Nicaragua, of which FETRADOMOV is a part.

The workshops, which will run until January 23 and will have participants from Nicaragua and El Salvador, will address topics such as: sexual diversity, gender and class; public policies and approaches to sexual diversity; labor rights for LGBTI people; political economy for diverse youth; unionism and feminism.

Throughout 2020, FETRADOMOV has worked hard to promote diversity, the eradication of violence and workplace harassment, and the ratification of ILO Convention 190, through numerous workshops and forums, in which special attention has been given care for transgender and migrant domestic workers.

In September, it organized a national workshop on “Labor Union Training for LGBTI Communities and Strengthening Alliances”, where SITRADOTRANS (Union of Trans Domestic Workers, a member of FETRADOMOV) played a key role, with a focus on inclusion and diversity as principles basic for the respect of labor and human rights.
