Information Management Officer (Part Time)

The International Domestic Workers Federation (IDWF) seeks an experienced information management specialist to provide essential technical operational support on information management of the IDWF at the global level.

Main Roles and responsibilities: 

  1. Provide technical support for data collection and information management activities, including, but not limited to membership data relating to: membership application, membership fees, annual database updates and staff travel schedules etc
  2. Administering the Google Workspace, calendar and software subscriptions to enable effective collaboration and information sharing.
  3. Facilitating technical requirements for IDWF meetings/webinars including scheduling, interpretation, troubleshooting issues and follow-up.
  4. Compiling, aggregating and analyzing information essential to IDWF events such as its Congress, on participants’ registrations, visas applications and others.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, social science or related field
  • Must have sufficient competency in Microsoft, Google applications
  • Strong technical knowledge on online meeting tools, e.g. Zoom and its interpretation arrangements
  • At least 5 years working experience in the field, with labor/women or justice movements preferred.
  • Experience in producing report with the data collected
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills with an attention to details
  • Fluency in English (both written and verbal), command of French or Spanish is a plus
  • Ability to work with a diverse team and constituency

Working hours and location

  • 20 hours per week, able to work a flexible schedule, e.g., during evening, weekends and public holiday, subject to the scheduling of activities and needs of organizations.
  • Strong and stable internet connection at home
  • This position is to work remotely based in the country where the person resides
  • S/he will report to Operations Manager
