FADWU representatives in Hong Kong meet with the Labor Department on the issue of window cleaning
Hong Kong Federation of Asian Domestic Workers Union (FADWU) sisters had a meeting with Assistant Commissioner of Labor Department this morning. We welcome the new article put into standard employment contract regarding external window cleaning for domestic workers. However, it is still unclear that what is the consequence if the article is violated.

Hong Kong Federation of Asian Domestic Workers Union (FADWU) sisters had a meeting with Assistant Commissioner of Labor Department this morning on Nov 2. They welcome the new article put into standard employment contract regarding external window cleaning for domestic workers. However, it is still unclear that what is the consequence if the article is violated.
They also remind the labor department that HKSAR government has promised to conduct one day training or seminar to all new arrival migrant domestic workers, but it has not been done until now. They request the government to conduct such training for all migrant workers.
