Call For Tender: Somatic Leadership Training And Team Building

The International Domestic Workers Federation (IDWF) is seeking proposals from qualified trainers to provide somatic leadership training and team building. This program aims to ignite and strengthen the domestic workers’ movement by combining individual transformation through somatic leadership methodology with movement building approaches. The training includes two intensive, 3.5-day, in-person sessions for each group (Staff and Executive Committee), and a third 3.5-day, shared in-person session bringing both groups together to complete the program.

SCOPE OF WORK:

  • Documentation of pre-training assessments
  • Customized curricula: somatic leadership training, team building, and individual and collective trauma healing modules, integrated with other program components
  • Training materials, including presentations, handouts, and exercises
  • A brief report after the completion of each training session
  • Contributions to final evaluation reports summarizing participant feedback and learning outcomes for somatics components 
  • The trainers will also participate in program start-up activities, including designing an initial survey, assessment and contributing to curricula development and planning sessions. Additionally, they will facilitate all sessions including two intensive, 3.5-day, in-person sessions for each group (Staff and Executive Committee), and a third 3.5-day, shared in-person session bringing both groups. Two sessions would be very like to be convey in Mexico or US. 

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

  • Interested trainers should submit the following information:
    • Overview of qualifications, including relevant experience in somatic leadership training and team building
    • Proposed approach and methodology for delivering the somatics components
    • Detailed curriculum outline, including session descriptions and key learning objectives
    • Proposed timeline and schedule for the training sessions
    • Budget proposal, including all anticipated costs (e.g., trainer fees, materials development)
    • The applicants should have a valid Mexico and US visa for travel. 
  • Please submit your proposal, including the fees required to complete the aforementioned deliverables, to [email protected] no later than April 17th, 2024. 
  • Evaluation of proposals will be based on the trainers’ qualifications and experience, proposed methodology and approach, curriculum outline, and budget feasibility. Please note that incomplete information will not be processed or considered. The applicants who are not contacted by the end of April will be considered unsuccessful in their application.
