As part of the celebrations of the 10th anniversary of the adoption of Convention 189 on Decent Work for Domestic Workers, we have the immense pleasure to invite you to join us for the launch of COVID-19: Guidance for Occupational Safety and Health for Employers and Domestic Workers. This guide will be available on June 23 at IDWF and ILO websites, in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

This important tool has been developed, in close collaboration, by the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the International Domestic Workers Federation (IDWF) with the invaluable input of 29 domestic workers organizations from 16 countries in Latin America, who worked hard from October to December 2020 in shaping the guide with their knowledge and experiences during the pandemic.

The initiative to develop this regional OHS guide comes from the domestic workers organizations themselves, through their Federation IDWF, with the purpose of having a guidance and reference tool for both workers and employers for a safe return-to-work in a post-pandemic context.
