Developed by KAFA (enough) Violence & Exploitation, a non-profit organization working on ending violence against women, "Domestic Work in Lebanon" is a video providing information and advice to the domestic workers who are going to Lebanon.
According to KAFA, often domestic workers are not prepared for their migration to Lebanon. They are unaware of the procedures to follow and may not go through pre-departure training programs. Moreover, domestic workers are often provided with incomplete or inadequate information about the living and working conditions in Lebanon. This ten-minute informational video aims at providing basic information for potential domestic workers going to Lebanon so that they are better prepared before for their travel.
The video is available in five languages: Nepali, Malagasy, Sinhala, Tagalog and Amharic.
