On June 19, the "MY FAIR HOME" campaign was officially launched by the FADWU and the HKCTU.

Employers of domestic workers shared their stories together with their workers. They talked about their perspective on building good employer-employee relationship. One of the keys they brought out was to know the needs of the workers and to respect them as human beings. They also considered that having a better regulation and legislation could provide a better protection for both parties.

Two Indonesian workers shared their experiences in fighting against illegal practice of the employment agency. They emphasized that the support from the unions and employers is very important to end exploitation and unfair treatment of domestic workers in Hong Kong. |
Researcher Jeczer Sernande from PLUHK said that having continuous research on illegal practice of employment agency is a way of fighting better situation for migrant domestic workers in Hong Kong. |

To celebrate International Domestic Workers Day, Hong Kong Federation of Asian Domestic Workers Unions (FADWU) and Hong Kong Confederation of Trade Unions (HKCTU) are jointly organizing an open activity on 12 June 2016 in Edinburgh Place, Central.
The theme of this year’s celebration is “My Fair Home: Monitoring on Employment Agency”
Even the public forum had to be postponed because of the rainy weather, domestic workers were gathered to celebrate their big day. They showed the statements of "Unity & Dignity of Domestic Workers", "We are Workers. We are not Helpers. We are not Maids.", "We Demand to ratify C189", "Against Excessive Agency Fee".
They also had a campaign for My Fair Home.
