GLOBAL -

International Domestic Workers Rights Day – June 16 – celebrates the 67 million mainly women workers who do the behind the scenes work to keep our lives, societies and economies functioning.

This invisible labour force is, however, systematically discriminated against in nearly every country, suffering horrific abuses at the hands of both their employers and the state.

To forward the fight we collaborated with 23 worker-led groups to produce the online series and ebook 'Domestic Workers Speak: a global struggle for rights and recognition', which we are extremely proud to release today.
