The three domestic workers were very young. They were Sheuli (17 years old), Jerin (15 years old) and Tammanna (16 years old). Sheuli and Jerin were found dead on 2 May at No. 7 sector in the City's Uttara. Tamanna was found dead in a house at Wari on May 8.

Together with leaders of trade union centres, human rights groups, labour and women groups, around 30 domestic workers joined the action. They are united in DWRN as a national platform to press the government to formulate laws and approve policy for protecting the rights of domestic workers. They have been organizing prompt actions including protests and human chains whenever there are cases of tortures of domestic workers.

In this action, they demanded for fair investigations into the killings, punishment of the murders and compensation for the victims' families.
