International Women’s Day!
IDWF e-Newsletter #15 - March 2017
The first Woman's Day was observed in 1909 to honour the 1908 International Ladies Garment Workers’ Union strike in New York. Over a century later, the IDWF is marking this day by paying tribute to Shusila Rana and Roja Maya Limbu, two of the very first domestic worker unionists in the Arab region.
