Our mission is to promote and protect the rights of domestic workers and migrant domestic workers through:

  1. Monitoring and promoting the implementation of national laws and related policies;
  2. Advocating to have a good laws/policies or relevant ratification of international laws relevant to domestic workers.
  3. Cooperate with other organsiations/institutions to provide legal support and to do counseling to domestic workers;
  4. Awareness raising, trainings, and sharing information to members and relevant stakeholders and providing housekeeping skills.
  5. Social Business Operation by collaboration with members and partners to ensure stable association and improve the livelihoods of members.

Association of Cambodian Domestic Workers (ADW) is an independent and democratic association formed by its first congress in October 23rd, 2016 with 104 domestic workers (DWs) participated.

Three leaders were elected through democratic processes, ADW’s constitution and internal policies have also been adopted by the congress.

ADW created by domestic workers, for domestic workers.

In December 2016, the total dues. ADW focuses on domestic workers who work in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap and also focuses on migrant domestic workers in Singapore.

The Second Congress on 04, November, 2018  with 81 Domestic Workers.

ADW member has 693 (18 Men); and 200 members, approximately 25% paid member.
