IDWF first discussion on the online communication network will begin Sunday November 23!

The topic is Stop Violence Against Domestic Workers in honour of International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women on November 25.

Many domestic workers face violence at work, and some groups such as children and migrant workers can be at even greater risk.

  • 1 out of every 3 women is a victim of violence
  • Violence can be verbal, physical, or sexual
  • Violence happens in all countries, religions, and socio-economic groups
  • Both men and women can be the perpetrators and victims of violence
