We can note that for domestic workers work for foreigner employers get better working conditions than local employers because they (workers) have specific skill of domestic work and they be able to negotiation with employers to do the labor contract which stated about working house, day off, salary and over time pay. they get salary from USD100 to USD230 per month (Ms Chanda work for French employer said). She wantS all domestic workers in Cambodian get high salary, work only 5 days per week and get over time paid like her through joining together to be a trade union.

But for the domestic workers who work for local employers, they work long hours, no one day off, low salary (USD50-70) per month.when they participant in workshop they always tell her employer that she want to go home to see her parents who get illness at home.

During the workshop, participant have opportunity to tell their experience and idea to improve the rights and working conditions and they awareness about their rights and benefit such as right of being a trade union, working no more than 8 hours, at less have one day off, decent wage, social protection, etc.
