Brazil: IDWF Continental Meeting for affiliates in Americas

In preparation for the 2nd International Congress of the International Federation of Domestic Workers (IDWF) in November 2018, all the organizations affiliated to the IDWF in America meet from May 3 to 6 in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

IDWF Continental Meeting
03-06 May, 2018 - Sao Paulo, Brazil

In preparation for the 2nd International Congress of the International Federation of Domestic Workers (IDWF) in November 2018, all the organizations affiliated to the IDWF in America meet from May 3 to 6 in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

During the meeting, a regional thematic workshop on gender violence in domestic workers will also be held in preparation for the negotiations of the International Labor Conference (ILC) in June 2018.

A total of 38 official delegates of domestic workers Home in Latin America, North America and the Caribbean will carry an important social dialogue on the sector as well as priorities, strategies and work areas to strengthen the objectives of the Network.

Peru (FENTRAHOGARP, SINTRAHOGARP, IPROFOTH, SINTTRAHOL),

USA  (NDWA and UDWA)

ACTRAV, Solidarity Center, WIEGO, ILO will also be present in support of the strengthening of the Network and the labor rights of domestic workers and informal workers.
