The IDWF / FES Capacity Building Workshop for Migrant Domestic Workers has officially started, the first of its kind in Africa!
From the 19th until the 21st of April, representatives of the domestic workers unions of Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia and Uganda and the IDWF will discuss the issues of domestic migrant workers, share their knowledge and experience and create a joint action plan in order to tackle the problems collectively.

Hawa Wenga, Assistant Labour Commissioner, Said Wamba, CHODAWU General Secretary, Myrtle Witbooi, IDWF President, Elizabeth Tang, IDWF General Secretary, Vicky Kanyoka, IDWF Africa Coordinator, and Reynaldo Rasing, IDWF Project Coordinator, are present to officially launch the workshop.
