PHILIPPINES/HONG KONG -

Interview of Angelyne Hernandez, Trainee of DGBBW project and Research Team Member, PLUHK Angelyne is among the first batch of trainees at our Organizers Training in Manila in 2017.

Hear her story and be inspired. The training consisted of classroom training and practicums in countries they worked. It is supported by the LEARN, SENTRO, IDWF and DGBBW.

"Before I was not in this training, it is too hard for me to reach out to people because I was not confident about myself. I was scared to talk to people. And I didn't know how to start organizing. After the program, it helps me a lot because now I am confident about myself and I know how to reach out to people. I have ideas of how to do organizing. After the training, we need to come back here (Hong Kong), we need to apply what we have learnt in that training. So every Sundays I need to do my responsibilities (to do reach out and do organizing)."
